The Skinny Bridge, or Magere Brug, is a quintessential example of Dutch engineering and design. Built in 1934, it replaced an older bridge from the late 17th century. The bridge's unique double-leaf bascule mechanism and its elegant white wooden structure make it a beloved landmark.
